• Search Engine (carib.guide): An online discovery tool and directory allowing users to search for places, local businesses, and services across the Caribbean region.
• Booking Engine (book.carib.guide): An online booking platform that enables users (“Customers”) to reserve accommodations, rent vehicles, book activities, tours, dining, and other services directly from independent third-party merchants (“Merchants”).

Carib Guide Inc. operates as a facilitator and platform provider. Carib Guide Inc. is not a travel agency, hotelier, car rental company, tour operator, or activity vendor.

When you make a reservation on book.carib.guide, the booking contract is formed directly between you and the respective Merchant. Carib Guide Inc. is not a party to any contract or agreement entered into between Customers and Merchants, nor is it responsible for the fulfillment, quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Merchants.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to make bookings or register an account on book.carib.guide.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and booking processes.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• Pricing: All prices displayed on book.carib.guide are set by the respective Merchants. Prices may or may not include local taxes, resort fees, or service charges, as indicated during checkout.
• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely via third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. By submitting your payment details, you authorize Carib Guide Inc. and its payment processors to charge the required deposit or full amount.
• Booking Confirmations: A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive an electronic voucher or confirmation notification via email from book.carib.guide.

• Merchant Policies Apply: Cancellations, refunds, no-show penalties, and booking modifications are governed strictly by the individual Merchant’s cancellation policy, which is presented prior to booking confirmation.
• Refund Requests: Refund claims or deposit disputes must be processed according to the specific Merchant’s policy terms. Carib Guide Inc. does not guarantee refunds for Merchant non-performance or Customer cancellations.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized booking activities.
• Submit false reviews, misleading rating information, or deceptive business listings.
• Use automated devices, bots, or scrapers to extract directory data or content from carib.guide without prior written permission from Carib Guide Inc.
• Attempt to bypass security protocols or payment systems on book.carib.guide.

While Carib Guide Inc. strives to maintain accurate search results and directory listings, business profiles, amenities, operating hours, and media are uploaded by third-party Merchants or compiled from public sources. Carib Guide Inc. does not guarantee the complete accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of directory information on carib.guide.

All trademarks, software code, design elements, logos, and platform branding on carib.guide and book.carib.guide are owned by or licensed to Carib Guide Inc. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Carib Guide Inc., its founders, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Services or performance of booked activities.
• Carib Guide Inc. assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage, vehicle damage, service delays, cancellations, or accidents caused by third-party Merchants booked through book.carib.guide.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Carib Guide Inc., its officers, directors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your breach of contract with any Merchant.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados. Any disputes or legal claims arising out of or in connection with carib.guide or book.carib.guide shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barbados.

Carib Guide Inc. reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
